Budgetish hotel for 2 nights?

We fly into Tampa on the 13th October, planning on driving straight to Orlando where we will visit Aquatica/SeaWorld over till we check into POFQ on the 15th.

Trying to keep costs low as these are 2 unexpected nights. We're a 4 inc 2 kids 13 & 11, was looking at the following:

Rosen Inn at Pointe

Clarion Lake Buena Vista

The Avanti

I'm swinging towards the Clarion as theres no parking fee and no resort fee, what do people recommended? or are there any other half decent reasonably priced hotels! Have only stayed onsite at both universal/Disney and in Condos/Villas when in Orlando!

I’ve only stayed at the Clarion but it was fine and no parking or resort fee would convince me.

Rosen doesn’t have resort or parking fees either, wasn’t that keen on the clarion but was mainly due to the area, Rosen at pointe location is great & much closer to Seaworld & Aquatica than the clarion, I think the avanti looks nice & same location to Rosen but I hate resort fees so try to avoid them

OP, have you thought of staying near Tampa on arrival, then up early and visiting Busch Gardens for a full day, before driving over to Orlando and staying one night at Rosen Pointe?

If you've got the 3 park ticket for SeaWorld / Aquatica / Busch Gardens it also includes free parking.

We are doing something similar in two weeks time and have booked the Enclave Suites. Great prices , cheapest was via Love Holidays.
We looked at the others mentioned but went for this as has both Studios and 2 bedroom units , both have kitchen and balcony . I do like my early morning cuppa on my own balcony without having to get dressed when dealing with the early waking whilst my body clock adjusts.

That was my first idea, but as we're planned to go to BG on the Sunday with friends and have the safari booked I couldn't change it as our friends don't get in till the Tuesday. Would have worked out better I know!

Thanks for the input everyone! I ended up going with the Clarion as it cost me a grand total of £10 whole English pounds for the 2 nights, that's keeping costs as low as possible!

I'm so looking forward to proper planning now!
