I think mco has become a victim of its own success. it just takes soo long to get from the plane to the front door to start your holiday.

I agree but also think we have been unlucky a few times, once it was so busy that it took 4 hours from touchdown to driving out😡

The next year we went via Detroit and we’re driving out of mco 30 mins quicker than flying direct the year before 😂

I’m glad this topic been brought up as I was looking at prices for roughly a 2023 guide. Hasn’t helped Travel city direct or Thomas Cook don’t fly anymore but looking at Tui and it’s got flights on Monday and Thursday from Birmingham or East Midlands airport which is perfect for us as Birmingham airport less than 5 miles away from us and East Midlands about a hours drive away. Just wish the flights were in a morning.

I miss Thomas cook tbh. Whats your thoughts on the longer travel distance from Melbourne airport.

Sorry I listed Midlands as my airport choices I only looked at the Birmingham days and times so just thought it listed both.
I flown into Sanford twice and Orlando twice.
Now the Disney Express is now gone if the prices are good I won’t have to pay for overnight stay in Manchester or London. Then a nice relaxed transfer to the hotel.

Thanks, would have been very happy if they resumed the East Midlands flights, but unfortunately not. Doncaster and Birmingham for me then.
