It was a dyson hairdyer and you have a good memory. Mrs MH recently said the Dyson curling tongs look good and I guessed they would be around £200, but they are more like £400 so she can continue to have very curly hair at that price

Don’t curling tongs make straight hair curly? I’m sure you could get Her a cheaper pair, dd has a pair that work great and cost about £60, for £400 they would need to be pure gold!

Yep on a yearly basis 😊 This year I’m on it properly as I have made a list of what I have bought and where I put them. I have got one of those big packs of Oreos for DS that I have to wrap and keep forgetting!

All the time!

I have a spreadsheet where I put in all the presents I buy for everyone (so that I don't just buy them the same thing every year) and this year I have had to add an extra column and I have had to put either where I have ordered it from and when delivery is due and then change it when it's delivered and put exactly where I have hidden it

Yep, sure do. Sometimes i lose them before i have even got them home ! Went to the Trafford Centre a couple of weeks ago with DD and DS, i bought a jumper for DD's partner and by the time we got home i had lost it. I had lots of carrier bags and must have dropped it somewhere while browsing at things.

Bought my wife’s favourite Chanel eau de parfum when I saw it on offer a few months before Christmas, then hid it somewhere safe.

That was 6 years ago...

Yes, have spent the last couple of days searching for items I put somewhere ‘ safe’. I do it every year, I never learn.

Every year I buy things and once I “hide” them I forget all about it. I don’t even remember they are there to look for them.

Louise they would eat them but they ask first, my dd has had three Lindt Santa’s this year. They were a bit fancier than normal packets so I don’t think they scoffed them!
