I have been to all before but kids haven’t so we are doing this next summer :
- Out from Manchester. -4 nights Garland. Family suite booked. Quite pricey but hotel recommended on here. -3 nights Grand Californian 1 bed suite (using my DVC). -4 Nights Vegas. Driving to Vegas probably. Going as a base for a long day trip to Grand Canyon South Rim as the kids need to see that. Not a great fan of Vegas been twice (was better first time I went 25 years ago). Will probably stay Vdara as they have suites with washing machines and kitchens (Mrs YT spoiled by DVC 1 beds, costs me more elsewhere now). - 4 nights New Orleans, flying there from Vegas, flights are cheap. Booked a suite at Jung. - Drive to Panama Beach, 3 nights condo near the beach. - Drive to WDW for 4 final nights. Again using DVC points will book Poly, Boulder Ridge or Riviera. - Fly back to Manchester from Orlando. In and out school holidays so flights were not cheap but picked up indirect with Air Canada for about £750 each including bags and seats. Haven’t booked internal Vegas to New Orleans flight yet, likely about £100 each. Edited at 10:50 AM. |

If you like a drink, book the Cocktail History tour in NOLA (it was number one thing to do on trip advisor when we went there), you can find it online.
You do a 4 hour walking tour learning all about the city and visiting 4 cocktail bars where the cocktails were invented, the cocktails at each were included. It was really interesting and good fun. Eat before you go though! It’s the Doctor Gumbo one
