SpringHill Suites Anaheim Maingate or Courtyard by Marriott theme park entrance

Good afternoon Dibber’s I’m currently planning a trip for next August and want to spent 4 nights at Disneyland California. Has anyone stayed in either of the 2 mentioned hotels? There are 5 of us and so will need space. The courtyard looks nicer however is approx £400 more. The SpringHill has free breakfast. Both appear to be walking distance going by hotel info. Any information is very much appreciated.

DisneyTouristBlog has a very comprehensive review of all the local hotels.

Springhill suites anaheim maingate are rated 24th (out of 46) and Courtyard by Marriot Theme Park Entrance is 5th. But well worth reading their whole review.

Hiya, yep we stayed at the Springhill Suites, this is the one on W Ball Rd, not on Harbor Blvd. We found it excellent for space, and v.good breakfast. Fairly easy walk round the back onto Magic Way into Downtown Disney, then to the main gates (or via the monorail), They were on one of the shuttle routes, but usually found it quicker - if more tiring - to walk. Only down side would be the location, Ball Rd is quiet, which is good, but meant few choices for dining. We've also stayed on hotels near the junct of Katella/Harbor, and whilst ok, found them very noisy if stuck with a room overlooking the road.

Not stayed at either of the ones you’ve mentioned but we spent 3 nights at the Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Anaheim and would definitely recommend.
Reasonably priced with free self parking, complimentary breakfast and a short walk or shuttle to the parks
