Mobile Silent Disco

Has anyone been to a silent disco? We had one at our Christmas party last night. When I heard about it last week I thought it sounded like the worst idea ever but it was brilliant!

We went on a cruise in the summer and they have a silent disco a couple of times each week. We went to one on deck and it was such good fun! Standing on a higher deck people watching was even better though.

I love silent discos. Especially if in the dark, can really let yourself go.

Makes people watching hard though.

Well I learn something every day. Never heard of a silent disco. So a quick Google resolved it.

The sense of humour I have would be to pair up a couple and play different music to each of them. Now that could be hilarious

someone operates silent disco 'tours' around newcastle of an evening

happened upon one the other week

harmless enough but looks like organised 'fun' to me

but guess 50 year old miserable gits are not the target punters

That’s why it’s so fun to watch. There are usually a couple of different options, i.e. cheesy pop, disco, 80’s, so groups and couples might be dancing, and quite often singing out loud, to different songs.

I’ve already asked the social committee to do it next year! It was only meant to be for an hour but it went so well they did it for two. It was great watching everyone change settings when a good song came on.

Yes on a cruise! I thought it sounded bizarre, and unsociable but it was actually the opposite, it really brought everyone together singing, dancing, and mostly laughing! Great fun.

I take part in our local Cancer Research Relay for Life
We have the headphones for the overnight walking
It's so funny seeing everyone moving to the music as they walk around the track

Sounds brilliant. There is so much music out there now that everyone can listen to what they want.

I went to an 80s night last Sat ( I am 50) and have never danced or sang as much as I did there. Just brilliant.
