Yay, just found this and all subscribed. Can't wait to read along.

You did have a bad experience on arrival to MCO didn't you! I can sympathise... when we were flying into Orlando last November, there was a tornado warning in the area at the time and the pilots attempted and aborted landing at MCO twice before diverting to Sanford instead. Not that we were allowed off there, nope, we had to sit on the plane for two hours while they waited for clearance to fly back to MCO--a very odd experience but we got there in the end which was the main thing

Goodness, your experience sounds way worse than ours at least we got through our landing first time around.

Day 1 is ready, we're off to MK for the opening show, we ride 2 out of 3 mountains, have breakfast at BOG, Dad nearly becomes a galactic hero, lunch at Tony's, watch the parade and then in the evening we head off to Disney Springs for dinner.

It's a whopper of a day!
