Probably shouldn’t reveal this little secret but if you go though the door to the right of the main lifts there is another lift never much of a wait .

We have tried places in the airport but you can’t go wrong with the meal deal for dinner and breakfast without leaving the hotel.

Yes, we’ve used that one too and it was a bit better.

We always hop on the monorail to Giraffe in S Terminal, also Wetherspoons and M&S there!

We are in Nicholas Culpepper in the North terminal. Very close to the PI. Giraffe closed too early for us to make it there!

Always worth reserving a table. In fact on our last visit in 2014, they texted us while we were travelling, to ask if we wanted to reserve.

The restaurant was busy - it was Halloween and all the staff were in costume raising money for GOSH. As we got in the lift to come downstairs to the restaurant, we saw a guy dressed as a very convincing zombie. He stayed in character all the way down, making blood-curdling moans!

I've eaten in many a PI and always do the meal deal.
