Just been upgraded - wow.
We are a family of 5 adults travelling next September. We had booked one of the rooms at Port Orleans that allowed 5 adult occupants. Yesterday we received an e-mail from Disney who were concerned the 5th bed in the room, in their opinion, was too small for an adult. We contacted them through their usual phone number at Disney.co.uk. After speaking to an agent the e-mail was confirmed as genuine. Therefore, if agreeable to us, they would like to move us, free of any charge, to the GRAND FLORIDIAN. Obviously, it didn't take long to agree. Wow what an upgrade. If that wasn't enough they also upgraded, free of charge, the dining plan from quick service to the full dining plan. Christmas has come early this year. Received the amended booking confirmation this morning.

That’s a fantastic if slightly bizarre and random upgrade. Surely a one bedroom at OKW would be cheaper than the GF? Or even a studio at Boardwalk Villas?

The room given as an upgrade is a Garden View room.
