Hi
We did this on our last trip. I personally enjoyed it as I could wear my glasses, something I cannot do when snorkelling. Have tried their prescriptions masks but not good.
It was weird at first , we got it cheap £24 . But as others have said I wouldn’t do it again.
Think you may be pushed for time with it being your first time. Plus you end up clock watching so you don’t miss your slot.
It’s such a lovely relaxing day whatever you decide to do it will be great.
We go to DC every time.

I've only been to DC once and had no problems slotting Sea Venture in along with dolphin swim and everything else. I certainly wasn't pushed for time, found it all very relaxing.

I'd also disagree with the clock watching part, providing you get there reasonably early. We got there just after 7am, had dolphin swim at 10, seaventure at 11 I think, rest of the day was free to us. Other half got a bit scared at seaventure but the staff were pros and handled it so well, eventually managing to talk her through it all. Other half understandably preferred the dolphin swim but I loved Seaventure so much more!

I'm also with you re clock watching. I got there about 8.00. Did Sea Venture at 9.30 and dolphin swim at 11.00 and the rest of the day was mine to do what I wanted. I left about 4.30 so there was plenty of time to everything.

we got sea venture at 3ish which meant not really drinking beforehand.

So be aware of that aspect. You'd need to arrive very early (we arrived say 8.30) to get booked in for an early slot.

We've done it twice and loved it both times, probably more the 2nd time as we knew what to expect with the helmets and walking around on the bottom

What's drinking got to do with it! I'm starting to worry about some people on here if they can't go without a drink for a day!
