I use berocca a couple of days before I go, and every day I’m away.
I do like wiping down my screen, tray etc too. Regular hand washing on holiday/on board too

I used to always come down with something after the flight, twice needing to seek medical assistance. Then I read some advice, antibac wipes to wipe down seat, table, screen etc. Regular use of gel on hands and... Vaseline up nose( renewing every couple of hours)! Now, it maybe a coincidence, but since I have been doing this I have had no ill effects from flying for the past 10 flights.

I use antibac, Olbas Oil et al., but a combination of the rhino and entero viruses put me in Cape Coral hospital a week after we arrived in Nov 2018. Dr was fairly certain I became infected on our flight.

All of the above plus don’t drink tea/coffee from the water tanks on board. I take a thermal flask/reusable mug (can highly recommend the contigo ones) and get a drink before we board. I used to always feel a bit funny after flights but since I stopping having the tea I haven’t been ill.
Dh uses the vaseline trick in the summer for his hay fever, works a treat. |

I take echinacea for a week or two before we fly in preparation. But I’ve learned a lot on this thread

I only wipe with baby wipes, perhaps I should upgrade.
