Best Family cruise

Hi, we are currently planning our 3rd Orlando trip and would love to add in a short cruise at the end of our holiday. We are a family of 5, 2 adult 1 teen and 2 kids. Would welcome any suggestions on how to book or any tips on anything really as never cruised before. Thanks

Disney Cruise Line is the best for families, but again that's the only cruise line l have been for all my 4 cruises. They have 3 night cruises on the Disney Dream to the Bahamas, which is a great way to test cruising. If you like it you can then do a 7 night cruise.

Any of the major cruise lines are good, it depends on your budget.

My DS preferred Carnival to DCL, but equally enjoyed, NCL and RCL too, all have great kids clubs.

DCL is fantastic for younger ones, but there are lots and lots of kids on board and to be honest it was a bit too much for me, but I work in a school😉

Royal Caribbean have so many activities for kids, also Disney cruise line, and Celebrity Cruise ines - but, I have taken my boys on all kinds of ships, big and small, they loved them all.
Would choose an itinerary that you like, and just go for it!
Celebrity have family cabins sleeping 5, that are HUGE and like a mini apartment. You have to call them to book this category.

I’d recommend Royal Caribbean, the bigger ships have so many facilities for all ages. We went on Oasis of the Seas last year, love it.

Another who would recommend Royal Caribbean especially if you have a teenager. Harmony of the Seas was fantastic. Lots to do for everyone- outdoor cinema, wave rider, ice skating, pools, children’s activities (my daughter won’t join in these though) food choices to suit everyone.
