We’ve downloaded ours to the app but are planning on changing ours for the credit card size when we arrive as we may not always have our phones with us.

I think we will do the same, put them on the app as back-up but we don't always take our phones. I actually like the little blue tickets.

You need the Universal Orlando app. My app has a wallet symbol at the bottom right but if you don’t have that tap on the menu at the top left and select wallet. At the bottom of the screen there is a bit to add tickets and passes. You can scan the barcode on your A4 tickets to add them. If everyone in your party has a smartphone and is taking it to the parks then they can each download the app for showing their own ticket.
