Thanks. I’m actually using one of those personal travel agents so I’ve asked her to check this for me. Thanks for all the advice. Once this is sorted next job planning our itinerary whilst there! 🙈

Glad to read the Cosmo is very nice.
We are staying here at Easter and have a fountain view suite with balcony.

Don't forget to build in the resort fees to the price comparison. Some show it in the price, others don't and it can be significant on the strip.

I can’t find anything appealing about treasure island , its one hotel I’ve never wanted to stay and one that I find reeks of smoke .

Moving to the strip is a wise idea though , Fremont is a fair way from the strip not walkable and finer is not for the faint hearted , I’ve got kids similar ages to yours and who’ve been to Vegas many times and it’s not a place I’d want them at night for 4 nights .. 1 visit there per trip is enough for us , plenty love it but plenty don’t either ..

Also depends what you want from a strip hotel some have better pools some like
Planet Hollywood which my two love have a younger vibe ,

Whichever you choose just beware neither can walk through the casino without a adult anywhere In Vegas without a adult .

Cosmo is way better than TI and I would pay the extra to stay there. Cosmo is very modern hotel, whereas TI is that bit older. I would gladly stay at TI if the price difference was significant though.

We've only been once but I wouldnt even think about TI. If you can't get a good deal at the Cosmo then consider the Venetian which is where we stayed on our trip and is absolutely gorgeous. We had a Bella suite which was huge and had a strip view. On the 29th floor i think it was. Just don't let them put you in the tower as you are a good walk from everything the hotel has to offer and the views aren't great

Look at the polo towers, we stay there, it is a condo, city tax is half the price, doesn't have casino so not smoky, has laundry facilities which are free. The one bedrooms have full kitchen.

It is next door to mum, across from Cosmo.

Going to jump in on this as interested/alarmed on peoples views on TI.

I have booked a couple of nights at TI in August for me & family (2A and 16yo & 15yo daughters). Booked TI as needed good value and a decent pool - should I look elsewhere? TI was only £100/night inc taxes, resort fee & parking so I think I will struggle to get better for the price but would welcome suggestions?

We are in Vegas a week earlier and staying at MGM Grand - splashing out a bit there as it is a big birthday and we have stayed there before and loved the hotel and pool area.

Trying to save money on the second visit as just passing through LV really on way to coast after doing Canyon/Monument Vally/Zion - TI may be fine for that but I can cancel and go elsewhere?

Please dont worry about TI. My daughter stayed there and the room was lovely. We were there and visited her a few times at the hotel. We gamble there all of the time and dont find the smoke any more of an issue than at any other hotel. I would happily stay there. Compared to Cosmo, Venetian Bellagio etc, no its not as nice but then you will pay at least twice the price. Another dibber stayed there and did a trippie about it but sorry I have forgotten her name so that you could read it. Maybe do a search? I honestly would be more than happy to stay there. Please dont worry.

Just found that trippie: Its from Lisa_Lollipop and its day 9 when she goes to TI. Its a great trippie to read.
