Time to leave park for train to cdg?

I have never used tgv to get from the park to cdg before. My flight is from terminal 2e at 14.50, there is a train at 12.50, gets to cdg at 13.00. Is that enough time to get from station to check in, go through security etc. It is on a Sunday so could be busy and I'm wondering if that cuts it a bit fine? It's only£15 each so a good transfer but need advice from people who have experienced it before. It would give me an hour's more park time too than getting an uber.

Theoretically it is enough time, however we had a cancelled train a few years ago and would have missed our flight if we had left it so late (I'm afraid I get to the airport extra early!) Luckily for us we got the next train which was around 40 minutes later so didn't have any impact on us.
In your situation I would book an earlier train or use Uber to be on the safe side.

Our only experience with the trains from MLV to CDG is similar to the one above, our train was delayed by 45 minutes. If this happened in your scenario you'd be leaving it very late to get to the airport.

We had a similar enough time frame last time. CDG is pretty big and depending on where your flight goes from, you might be tighter than you like. That’s personal preference though. The less time spent in airports the better for me!

On trains, the set up in the Disney station is a little chaotic. They don’t announce which platform your train is until 10 mins before hand

Our trains were delayed and I was starting to panic a little bit. I jumped on the next train to CDG (destination Lille Flanders). It was the one before ours but everything was delayed. I was willing to plead ignorance if need be but our tickets were never checked.

I’m not suggesting don’t pay for the ticket but they’re not scanned getting on/off the train and with the journey being 10 mins you’re very unlikely to have them checked

So if you’re a little worried about time, go to the station a little early and take the next available TGV to CDG

Is the TGV regularly delayed? I'm planning to use it in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for replies. I think I'm going to get an uber instead as it looks like most people opt for an earlier train, just in case of delays. There's no saving money wise or time wise. An ok option if the times fit with your schedule and the tickets are cheaper.

We found RS Transports cheaper than TGV or coach. For 2 adults it was 38 Euros one way.

It’s your decision of course but it saved us quite a bit of time. We got about 2 hours extra in the park compared to others in our group (our daughter’s dance group) on the same flight

It’s probably the most expensive option but was still worth it for us

I've used rstransport every time previously...however I've had a few issues of lateness and its put me off using them again. Hence looking at other transfer options.

I have never used the TGV to get to the airport, but I often have connections in Lille. I've been this way 3 times and every single time so far the TGV has been delayed. I wouldn't trust it at all, one time I missed my eurostar- luckily because the whole thing was booked through them they put me on the next eurostar- but it was very stressful.
