Eurostar options

Hello
I'm taking my family to DLP on 24th to 26th Sep this year. I was under the impression that the Direct eurostar didn't run on tuesdays or thursdays to DLP but my dad seems to think it's possible - maybe he's thinking of the direct train to Gare du Nord?
I've only ever done the indirect via Lille previously but the wait at Lille is always so long. Would it be quicker/easier to take a direct train to Gare du Nord and then another train to DLP?

Thanks

Not necessarily quicker (the only time I changed at Lille the wait was only 40 minutes, whereas the RER involves changing trains and a 45 minute journey). However, it is easy enough (again, not as easy as Lille where I was literally on the same platform).

However, it is perfectly possible and means you can take advantage of there being more GdN trains. You are also more likely to get cheaper tickets. Last time we did GdN there was a £29 each way offer. Obviously not for the best train times though.

Also if you get the early GdN train you can be in Paris by 9.30 and DLP by 11 which is nice.
