Netflix help.

Whilst we have been on holiday our wonderful dog sitter put Netflix on our TV... her boyfriend put her on his package so she can use it anywhere. So now as our TV is logged on as her... she said we can now watch it.
I watched the whole series of After Life with Ricky Gervais last night.. but can not understand how this works.
We can see Netflix now but are paying nothing as he has it for friends and family...�.. I just don't understand why we can now use it free of charge ?

Legally you can�t.
We pay for 4 screens at once but they are all supposed to be family members

Each account has a certain number of devices allowed to use it.

If it�s orginally set up to watch on 2,3, or 4 devices then it will still work on your tv , for ex I pay monthly to watch on 4 devices this allows my husband when abroad working just to log onto our Netflix acciun5 and watch them on his tablet the same as my sons use it on there Xbox

I know one of our friends whose new "squeeze" is in Canada has it and has added her on his account and she is in the UK. She gets the UK version.

It never occurred to me to do this but practically everyone I know shares accounts!

As already mentioned, you can pay slightly more for additional devices on the same account. So 3 or 4 different people can watch Netflix using the same account at the same time.

However, the terms of use state that the account should only be used by household family members and not shared with different households. So technically what you're doing is against Netflix's terms, although it's unlikely Netflix will do anything about it. SSee the following article, for example:
