Disneymoon upgrades... cheeky ask

You'll get a free cupcake at most TS places.
You will also see a heap of honeymooners and Disney brides too. (I suspect the odds of a free upgrade is probably better for those who are dropping thousands on weddings at Disney rather than those who have wed elsewhere)

It's such a honeymoon hotspot it'd be impossible to upgrade everyone celebrating "something special". We got married last year in Florida and spent part of our stay at the Boardwalk. We didn't get any freebies outside of badges and cup cakes... but we didn't need anything to make it "special" it was wonderful anyway.

In your case it might be a long shot. There's a limited number of king corner rooms available... so the stars would have to align for one to be open and not pre-reserved for the duration of your stay.

As others have mentioned - wear those 'just married' pins with pride and you'll get all sorts of small little gestures that will be fun everywhere you go. Chances are when you check in for meals they will ask if you are celebrating anything as well. Don't be shy...let them know!

You could try faxing a note to the hotel, to say how excited you are to be spending your honeymoon there. You could mention you were disappointed that you couldn't book your most wanted room type, but that you are still thrilled to be getting to stay with them.
Nothing ventured nothing gained, and it would at least brighten a CMs day to read a nice note saying someone is really excited about their holiday.

When we have been celebrating things we haven't received any pixie dust apart from the celebration badges. If we requested a certain area for a room I could guarantee we wouldn't get it - it became a long standing joke. However last year when we came off the Disney Fantasy we were booked into the Disney Boardwalk for 2 nights and not celebrating anything and they turned around at check-in and said they had upgraded us to club level at the Boardwalk with free food and drinks and a beautiful room. So sometimes when you are least expecting it the magic happens!

We got a glass of fizz for free at the CG on our honeymoon. Recently we celebrated a birthday for our nephew who was 5 and noted it on the reservation at CP, but got nothing.

We have had anniversary cupcakes a lot as we always go on our anniversary,This year it's our 25th and the Castmember when we booked our holiday was so excited when she asked if it was a special year and I told us it was our 25th,not expecting anything other than another cupcake though.
The best thing we got was on my 40th birthday I was in the queue for a Dole whip float and the cast member sang happy birthday to me before giving it me free of charge,it really made my day! It's the little gestures that mean the most!
