Day 1 - Hogs Head - Drinks

My original plan was to come into the pub and get an alcoholic drink but it was so hot that I just didn’t feel like it so instead got a raspberry tea each, this was really tasty and refreshing and a welcome change from butterbeer (sacrilege I know) I’d recommend if butterbeer isn’t your thing or you fancy a change. Also if your looking for a quiet shaded spot with a lovely view of Hogwart’s then the back of the Hogs head is almost always empty in comparison to Hogsmede.

Day 1 - Pterodactyl Pizza

We were originally due to have lunch at the Famous hotdogs in Citywalk for lunch but decided on pizza instead. We ordered a cheese pizza, a brookie and a coke. The person on the till made a mistake and put pepperoni through which Dan doesn’t like so they gave us a free brookie and made a new order.

Whilst I was at the till waiting for my pizza a horrible elderly couple had a massive go at the woman on the till because she had to put his beer into a plastic cup instead of him carrying the bottle - it was a company rule and he was swearing at her like she had caused a real problem, he made her upset, I really dont know why some people visit the parks when they go about life like that but hey ho, I apologised on his behalf.

Pizza was nice as usual and the brookies are always lovely. For those who do not know a brookie is a cookie inside a brownie and they’re always nice from the pterodactyl pizza stand.

Total was $27 again

Day 1 - Cowfish

After having a relaxing afternoon we headed out to Citywalk for Dinner. We have been to Cowfish many times and its one of our favourite restaurants. I usually get a alcoholic drink but tonight fancied a milkshake and so did Dan.

I ordered a Gimme S’more Shake - Vanilla ice cream with double dark chocolate, mallow cream and crunchy graham crackers

Dan ordered a Cup Of Joe Shake - Chocolate ice cream, caramel, coffee

Ive gotta say that these shakes were delicious and so much better than toothsomes - really creamy but with amazing flavour

I ordered the All-American Bacon Double Cheeseburgooshi - Seasoned premium black angus beef, yellow cheddar cheese, white cheddar cheese, and applewood bacon wrapped in soy paper and potato strings, then flash fried. Topped with dill pickle, red onion, Roma tomato, and Cowfish sauce

Dan ordered the The C.B.C.L.T.
Beef burger, cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, Cowfish sauce, brioche bun but asked for it without the tomato, onion and lettuce so it was a C.B.C really.

The meal was amazing as always and we were stuffed - it came to $63 and we’d give it a strong 9/10

Subscribing ... enjoying reading along ... can recommend the Memphis Mafia at Voodoo. Make sure you sit down to eat it though, it can get messy
Really like the sound of the Cheeseburgooshi.

Day 2 - Islands Dining room - Royal Pacific Resort

We got up later than planned this morning so decided to go to the onsite restaurant for breakfast instead of Voodoo Doughnuts (we dont hold back for long though)

The restaurant is located on the ground floor near to the pool and is Hawaiian themed as is the majority of the resort.

I ordered Classic eggs Benedict - it came with breakfast potatoes and was amazing, poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the holandaise had a little kick to it - we may go back here later on in the holiday. I’d give my meal 8/10

Day 2 - Florian Fortiscues- Ice cream

We were still full from breakfast so skipped our lunch at the Three Broomsticks (we’ll go there later in the trip I’m sure)

We have a bit of a tradition in getting ice cream from here and it doesn’t dissapoint - especially in this heat.

I ordered hardpack chocolate and raspberry
