Flights only go direct 3 days a week - I think it's Friday, Sunday and Tuesday. It's a new route for Virgin from later this year and TC appear to have followed suit and reduced the days they fly direct.

Finally booked! 17/07-07/08 LHR-DUB-SFO SFO-LHR including VW Jetta or similar for 3 weeks, 3 adults & 1 youth for £712pp. Booked through BA Holidays.
I was really beginning to panic as the ‘sale’ prices were going up and up but had a quick look this afternoon and if I changed the outgoing flight to via Dublin it took the price down to what I was happy paying. If you take the cost of the car off the flights work out at about £520pp inc Luggage so very happy with that |

That seems a good price to me, well done! I'm still searching for reasonably priced flights for my dates (09/08 - 25/08).

For anybody looking for the end of school holidays, Skyscanner are showing great prices from LHR to SFO Aug 20th-Sep 3rd, £255 indirect and £321 direct.
For LAX prices are £326 for direct there and 1 stop return with BA. |

Unfortunately not, we're based in the south. BA prices seem to jump up and down a lot so still hoping to get a good deal with them.
