About twice a week we cook egg, bacon, tomatoes etc.
Other days we only have cereals. Depends how we feel. Melvin and Lesley

Both, depends on the day and what we are doing?
Mostly toast, choc au pain or croissant but in a hotel full English or in Florida we do a mixture of both x

Each day is different depending on our plans. I’m not really a breakfast person but force myself if I know it’s a busy day

A cooked breakfast doesn't have to be fried anyway
Plenty of lovely hot options that don't need a frying pan. I had kippers this morning Some mornings I do the SW favourite smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with 1Quark and grilled tomatoes or the same but grilled bacon instead of salmon. The hotel we are staying at in April include continental breakfast, my husband is happy with fruit and yougart so it suits him , I'll probably at least some mornings pay to upgrade to add full breakfast including omelettes. |

We're not 'big breakfast people' so just have coffees and a pastry most mornings - but we usually try to have a couple of late morning TS brunches instead of eating later.

In my younger days I used to have an American breakfast every morning, could eat like a horse, no stomach issues and thin.
Now I avoid it. Not healthy for 14 days and my stomach would not appreciate it. We get 1 beds with kitchens so have breakfast cereal in the morning, and often make up some sandwiches now and take them into parks for lunch. It's quicker doing that than queuing up to order quick service, you can stop in more convenient locations and whilst we don't do it every day, it saves a fortune. Of course if I'm at Premier Inn I partake... Edited at 06:51 AM. |
