Oh wow, some lovely looking food and cocktails. Cali grill looked so great. It sounds like you've been having a brilliant trip. Enjoy spending your snack credits.

Just returned from flower and garden festival. Lovely afternoon although very windy. Here’s our food pics, can’t remember what was from where except the grand mariner slushy from France.

So yesterday we were sad to check out of the contemporary. We had a lovely time and the staff were amazing. We drove down to Naples in 4 hours and all was going smoothly until we entered the villa we had booked through HomeAway. It hadn’t been cleaned at all. After an hour managed to contact the owner who said he had no knowledge of our booking! He arranged for the cleaners to come in and so we were homeless for about 5 hours. Ended up at the watermark grille and had a nice, very expensive meal. Going to try and claim a night back. Here’s the photos from last night.

These were calamari, tuna and jumbo shrimp, followed by fish platter and grouper.

Just had a walk along the stunning beach so thought I’d share this photo.

Crikey I bet that was a shock when the owner said they had no knowledge of your booking😳

That's funny, I wonder where he thought your payment had come from? I'm glad it was all cleaned and sorted though.

Having a few problems at the villa. We’ve had to remove a snake from by the pool (I was in it when I noticed it alongside me). We’ve also been invaded by bees in the kitchen and can’t find where they’re coming from.

Here’s our photos from citrus in Naples. Great food.

Can’t find a picture of my whole hogfish, which was so good. Too much wine!
Last night we went to the Turtle club near where we’re staying. Booked this last year to get an outdoor table on the sand. Was fantastic. Here’s the view.

And the food
Lobster. Jaqueline, seafood chowder, ceviche and calamari

Followed by 2 seafood platters and 2 groupers with crab topping. Delicious

Only one of us, not me, managed dessert.
which was fruit tart

That snake in the pool would have given me a heart attack, DD spotted a slowworm on our walk yesterday and nearly climbed onto my shoulders. The Naples food looks great loved it there when we went, they had a superb food festival on that I haven't been able to track down since. Enjoying your report
