I used them for our 2016 trip. I was a nervous first time driver and we were flying into Tampa so the extra that they charged was worth it for us. The service was great. Peter talked me through road signs on the drive from Tampa then went through the car and the features with me. I would definitely recommend them.

Lat time we went we decided to use Car on the Drive. It was great dealing with a real person and not being a number. Peter and his wife couldn’t have been more helpful when discussing our requirements. Yes, it was more expensive than picking up a car at the airport but we were collected by Peter and taken to our villa, so no driving when tired, where an upgraded virtually new car was waiting. Peter went over the car with us explaining all the features (can remember when Dollar escorted you to your car, put your luggage in and explained everything years ago). At the end of the holiday he came and collected our luggage and we met him at his office when it was time for him to take us to the airport. Was worth every penny.

We used them about 6 yrs ago. They seem so expensive now . We have booked with DFCH this year for a Intermediate 5 Seater SUV I have just now paid £380 for 2 wks. The same for COTD they wanted £910 and that is prob without tax added .Just over £500 for a lift to and from the airport ... No thanks . Rather spend the extra in Michael Kors

How much!
Don't talk to me about Michael Kors! We wandered in there on Tuesday and I came out of there $350 lighter. Why do Ladies have to have the same handbag in 2 different colours.

I stand there and hold things for my Wife - I know my place!
She told me to message my daughter to see if she wanted a bag, this is how the conversation went! Q. Hi, how are you. A. Can't speak, putting the kids to bed. Q. Oh,ok, not to worry. Your Mother is in Michael Kors shopping, sale on A. Oh lovely, what have they got? Q. Loads, good discounts. Not to worry if you are busy. A. Not to worry, they can wait. Have they a big bag in a camel colour, send me pics - lots! Q. What about these? - WhatsApp sent A. Lovely, sadly I'm skint. Q. Do you want one? A. Who is paying? Q. Me. A. Mmm, I will have the one in the 2nd picture. Thanks Dad.

It gets worse! My Wife ordered some cotton handbag storage bag things to protect them off Amazon! Thankfully they were only £4.

I’ve used COTD IN 2015, it was my first time driving and I didn’t fancy the drive from the airport. They provided a great service, yeah they were more money than a normal car hire company but I was happy to pay and more than happy with the service.
