A trip down the I-4 would take you in the direction of the Trop, just in time for the opening of the MLB season

Orlando City (football/soccer) and Orlando Magic (basketball) have home fixtures in April.

As well as soccer (Orlando City) and basketball (Magic) there is the new Orlando Apollos American football team that plays at the University of Central Florida (aaf/teams/orlando-apollos), who have 2 games in April (and, probably, a home playoff game, too), and the Orlando Solar Bears ice-hockey at the Amway Center (orlandosolarbearshockey/schedule/2019-04/), who will also be in play-off mode in April. This is fun and very family-orientated (tickets are also not expensive - from $12.25 to $30.75.

You could also try the new Orlando SeaWolves, an indoor soccer team who play at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee. They have 2 home games in April (orlandoseawolves/sta...?team_id=32594).

Oh, and the Orlando Predators, an Arena League team (indoor American football - very fast and fun!) also are due to re-start in April, with one game at the Amway Center on April 13 (the rest of their games in April are away).
