Disney Deluxe Hotels - Refurb Schedule

After a fruitless google search, does anyone know where I can find out when the Deluxe Hotels underwent room refreshes/refurbs?

After staying at SSR in 2016 and 2017 and being very disappointed at the state of furnishings, I'm keen not to repeat that on my visit for 2020. Nb. note SSR now going through a full room refurb over the next 18 months.

Was looking particularly at the Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge. (I had discounted Beach Club for other reasons but do like the look of the 'fresh' rooms there following their refurb)

Seems to be a few delays with refurbs POR was supposed to be finished now but the suspended refurb last November and are restarting this month

Shame, about SSR, love that place

AKL is happening right now and WL is on the cards. Was supposed to have started by now but it seems to have been delayed.

Oh that’s interesting, would make me choose AKL over WL if that’s the case then, given how tired SSR was by that point.

That’s two of us can’t see. I changed the options to AKL and only shows the park

OKW rooms are lovely after the refurb last year

Looks really fab and should all have been done my May, fingers crossed for us
