Mobile Kennedy space centre

Hi all, I am planning on taking my young family to Kennedy on 7th April and was wondering what the best visitor package option is and the best way was to pay.

Google is returning costs per head around £35 for a tour package but I’ve no idea whether that’s a good option.

Any recommendations and tips very welcome

The lowest single day base ticket is all you need.

The base ticket covers admission and all of the displays, plus the standard bus tour (there is a more in-depth upgraded tour offered for up-charge), IMAX movies and Atlantis.

Do you suggest we buy in advance or buy at the gate?

I think you might avoid a line to buy and just have the line to get checked if you buy in advance.
We've always bought through attraction tickets direct, so I'm not 100% certain I'm correct, but fairly sure.

There is a to be confirmed launch that day - if it goes ahead the minimum ticket for entrance will be $75 as it's Falcon Heavy and expected to draw crowds. Once in a lifetime lifetime though if you are not local.

Seriously? Wow. All the more reason to book in advance then right?

I’ve booked tickets for the launch on the Kennedy website. $75 each as you say. Thanks for the tip. Can’t believe our luck!

Not pouring cold water on this, just relating our experience of some years ago. We went to see a shuttle launch with a guarantee that if it didn't happen we could keep going back until it did. No launch. We went back next day, countdown, no launch, third day, countdown, no launch. Our son really wanted to see it so we went the fourth day but still no launch. We just couldn't use another precious day of our holiday on a fifth day so we went to Universal Studios instead and up it went😬 This won't happen to you though. 🤞🤞🤞

Thanks, I appreciate it’s a risk but it’s a risk worth taking. We won’t get another chance to do it and the price increase on a standard entry fee doesn’t break the holiday budget.

We're going to KSC on 21st September. The KSC website doesn't show any planned launches that far ahead. In the unlikely event that one is scheduled for that day would our cheaper tickets still be valid? Have hired a car for the day to go there so don't really want to change plans.
