I have andit was a very bad experience the breakfast was very basic toast and cereal. The 2 bed appartement from extremely old and dated and smell was horrible and just not kept clean as it should. I wouldnt recommend it unless your on extreme budget and need the 2 bed appartement

Trying for More Ears

We stayed there in November 2017,admittedly the apartment wasn't fantastic space wise but we had been spoilt by staying at Grande Villas for 3 previous holidays lol!
This was a Universal Studios 2 week holiday visit as the exchange rate made us cut Disney out that year. As we understand it the Enclave Suites are working through refurbishments of all the apartments, they may have finished by now, we haven't looked as we're doing a villa with family this year. The Enclave Suites are very close to Universal Studios and if booking with Virgin you get the complimentary cooked buffet breakfast included.. this breakfast saved us a lot of money and in our eyes is the star of the Enclave and the staff are fabulous! There is a Facebook group set up for fans of the Enclave, i joined before we went and it was great to see photos of the resort, apartments and breakfast before we arrived.

My friend stayed there and said it was a great base, she's of same thinking as me if it's clean and tidy, I can store my belongings, have a wash and a sleep it'll do for me. They would go back and stay there they said

We have five nights there next month.
I'm not expecting the Boardwalk Five nights cost less than one night at BWI ! Most rooms are now refurbished, the constant comment is how clean it is , all rooms have balconies . We aren't expecting to spend a great deal of time there but like idea of a kitchen and balcony for those early morning cuppas and takeouts on the nights we are too parked out to go out to eat. It does have a very loyal following , which may be good or may be familiarity has bred shortsightedness to some of its shortcomings . Time will tell. I'm not expecting bells and whistles just a clean and comfortable base with lots of reasonable food options available and easy access to the I Drive attractions. At less than £300 for five nights I'm not expecting perfection We chose it over the similarly priced Rosen for the balcony really (spoke to the hotel direct after booking and they've promised me a room with a lake view for those earlymorning cuppas) We have continental breakfast included but can upgrade to the hot buffet breakfast for $5.99 so I suspect we will do that. We have stayed there twice, I would say the rooms we had were a little dog eared round the edges but I liked having a balcony and the location. Nice pools as well. I like being able to cook a little but in the room as well. My sister stayed again last year and they kept having problems with the lift. As others have said it is not 5 star but it is ok.

Stayed here in Feb this year and will most likely stay again next Feb. We stayed with virgin and had a non-updated room. No denying it was dated... but beds were clean, balcony was nice to have and room was spacious. Kitchennette seemed well stocked though we didn’t use it. Good location for universal and a few restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was fine as long as you got in early, we had virgin hot breakfast buffet but fresh fruit was available every morning along with waffles for a few days, freshly made omelettes, cereal etc... we only wanted a base, it was fine for us considering the cost.
