I would imagine that on the basis that there is no deal, there could well be chaos at immigration on whatever date we “crash out”.For that reason regardless of wherever we arrived back into the UK from that day may encounter more significant delays.
Apart from that I don’t think the OP neeed be too concerned. NO POLITICAL VIEWS EXPRESSED. |

My 14 yo DD is flying back from Sweden via Germany to France on 12th April on a school trip. She leaves, like Tinkerbell, as an EU citizen and will potentially return as a non EU citizen with no paperwork to prove she is resident in France. Heck, she was born here and has an automatic right to French nationality but only when she is 18!
It is outside our control. We will take it as it comes.

I fly home on 21st may so we land on the 22nd- I don't know what to expect but I'm not worried about it. My partner has an African passport so I suspect he will sail through and I will be stuck in a long customs queue

We've decided to go to France for the Easter break. I refuse to let things like this control what I do. What will be will be...
Have a great holiday!

Until 4 months ago it was a concern.
The current agreement with regards to flights to/from the USA is between the EU and USA. There was no UK/USA flight agreement. As soon as we left the EU, we would have no longer had a legal agreement to fly to/from the USA. Thankfully, the UK and USA agreed an "open skies" deal post Brexit on 29th Nov 2018. See the following for more details: bbc/news/business-46380463 Leaving the EU affects more than just the things between the UK and EU. Many international agreements that we currently benefit from come from us being a member of the EU.

Ha we are going on a cruise from Southampton on 24th May, we were going to go the day before but decided to book for that morning (boat leaves at 7pm) but now with Brexit potentially two days before we are getting worried. Wishing I'd went the night before and stayed outside Folkstone.
Might look into it.
