Universal single day ticket?

This is my first post so I'm slightly nervous that I am doing it right... but here goes.

We are going to Orlando mid October, we last went in 2000 so booking things are very different ! I have sorted my Disney tickets, ADR's etc but we (six adults and two children) were thinking of going to universal but probably only for a day. Do single day tickets exist and if so does anyone know how much they cost? Is it better to buy them when we are there or before we go. I don't want to buy a 14 day ticket when we can only fit in 1 day. Any advice would be appreciated.

undercovertourist do the 1-Day Park-to-Park Ticket or the 1-Day Base Ticket.

Don't forget that if you want to ride the Hogwarts Express or park hop you will need a Park to Park ticket.

orlandoattractions.com also sell a 1 day ticket, but only a 2-Park 1 Day Hopper Ticket, they don't sell a 1 Day Base Ticket. Link below.

orlandoattractions/t...dios-worldwide

You can also look on the Universal site or pay on the gate. Link below for the Universal site.

universalorlando/web...omo/index.html

You can buy a value ticket, or an anytime ticket, make sure you buy the correct one for the date you want. It will tell you which dates the ticket is not valid for on the ticket details.

Just to give you some idea of the prices.

Universal 2-Park 1 Day Hopper Ticket - Value Season from orlandoattractions.com £129, this is cheaper than from undercovertourist

Universal 2-Park 1 Day Hopper Ticket - Anytime Season from orlandoattractions.com £135.75. It's roughly the same price from undercovertourist

Universal 1 Day Base Ticket - Value Season from undercovertourist $122.48, roughly £92.

Universal 1-Day Base Ticket - Anytime Season from undercovertourist $132.06, roughly £99.29

All the above are adult prices. I think it is all correct, but I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Welcome to the Dibb

Thanks for the info re universal tickets, I’m going to sit everyone down and look at the universal parks maps to see what everyone would like to do and work out which ticket will be best - thanks again for your reply.

As well as the above, you can buy 1 day tickets at the entrance to any of the Universal parks whilst over in Florida. So if you don't get a ticket now but change your mind whilst over there you can still visit for a day. The prices are roughly similar to those mentioned above.

I would say that it's expensive just for 1 day. And you may find it difficult to do everything you want in the two parks (3 if you include Volcano Bay) in just 1 day.
