Any good bargains to be had or not?

Certainly used to be good bargains but few years since I have been in early Oct. Remember a few stores with extra 50/60% off but also remember it being very busy!

I'd take an extra 50-60% off if it means queueing for an extra 15 mins!

Hi OP, thanks for asking this. We usually miss Columbus Day but we are arriving earlier this year so you have just reminded me about it.

Does anyone know if the Columbus Day sales are usually just on Columbus Day or do they include the weekend before too?

I believe last time I was there the sales were over the weekend and not just the Monday.

Monday holiday sales usually start on Saturday. Some places may have a few extra bargains on the actual holiday. I know there will be sales but I don't think of Columbus Day as a big "sale weekend."

I always shop on weekends because there always seem to be sales.
