Spectrolee's Three Week Disney Trip - Day 20 OMG we are now DVC owners!

A rainy day in Walt Disney World
Poor Matt and Davie had golf booked
Davie getting soaked at the 18th hole haha

The girls and kids headed to the DVC Center to get some numbers

There were snacks and refreshments

There was a video presentation to start with
Joni clapped her hands throughout - an omen haha

We had a very lengthy meeting with our guide Mark - God love him we took up a lot of his time

Remember I mentioned we loved Wilderness Lodge
Well, we now own at Copper Creek!
Eva, Matt and I decided to buy so that Joni and Ed have their holidays sorted for the next 50 years.

You exit via an ice cream parlour
We were given 3 x $100 gift cards each (as we live at different addresses at home)
We also got 3 fastpasses each for anywhere except Pandora, Frozen, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train or Peter Pan

Off to Via Napoli to celebrate

There was a lot more garlic focaccia before I took the photo.

Isabel, Davie and I had the scoglio

Eva and I split the scoglio and a pizza she ordered
Both were delicious, we all loved tonight's dinner

Matt had the Italian sausage pizza

Prosecco for Isabel
Davie, Eva and I shared a bottle of chianti

Not a huge dessert selection

Ice cream all round

We'll definitely make a return trip to Via Napoli

We headed round World Showcase back to Future world for a trip on Soarin'

Quick stop in Japan

Joni wanted this Hello Kitty
Unfortunately the suitcase space is getting tight

She settled for a smaller one

Love this store

Quick stop at Artists Palette to get some coffee

Off to bed half excited, half wondering what the hell we've just done hahaha

I've been trawling the points brochure already, working out how to maximise our point use (we're already talking about add on contracts)

Can't wait now for our trip next year. I'll need to cancel our existing booking and make a new one with DVC points.

Another good day. Congratulations on becoming DVC members. I would love to but it's just not in our budget right now. I don't know how you are getting all that shopping home.

Well done!, you will not regret your decision! We bought last year & have just returned from our first holiday using our points. We had a week at Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina, an amazing resort & so worth the 51/2 hour drive, then 2 weeks in Orlando. Already planning next years holiday!
