Pretty sure whenever we get an order from Garden Grocer we have booze included in that.

As a functioning alcoholic, I'd very likely die if I arrived at WDW and find no beer and wine waiting for me.

Exactly the same as Bozza. Done this before with Garden Grocer - just had to email my ID over after placing the order.

All arrived safely and prompt on our arrival day - was waiting for us when we checked in.

Found it quite pricy compared to Walmart but time saved so cost might be worth it.

Next year I think I’ll probably just take an hour or two out to visit Walmart.

Just as an example: Yellow Tail Sauvignon Blanc Wine, 750 mL $4.98 (Walmart) v $10.19 (Garden Grocer). It’s also $14.00 delivery fee for Garden Grocer unless you spend $200 dollars.

If you don’t have a car then you can use Uber to get to Walmart, I believe the nearest to Disney is the one on Vineland and this is approx. $8-10 dollars from SSR

Hi
We are staying at POR at the moment and had a delivery by Fairytale Shopper (Beth). We had some wine and beer included in our delivery which were charged at supermarket prices plus $20 service fee. It was waiting for us at bell services when we arrived. We just sent a scanned copy of our passport as proof of age when we placed our order. Would thoroughly recommend the excellent service and will be using again when we visit next year.
Hope this helps.

Sue

So I'm assuming their were not truth to the stories that Disney were turning away delivery with Alcohol?

I'm weighing up the option of a Garden Grocer delivery vs an uber to Walmart

I haven’t heard that was the case, though I haven’t been this year.

Garden Grocer is great for convenience, I just found it very overpriced for the items I want, adding in the delivery charge, the uber to Walmart works out much more cost effective.

Yes and I had great service and a much better cost than garden grocer. However if you want alcohol you need to be there to accept the order as from other reports Disney won't accept the order at bell services if it includes alcohol.
