Where is everyone at the outlets & Disney Springs?

We visited Vineland Ave outlets & Disney Springs today for a day trip from Indian Shores.

Had heard horror stories re parking; ok, we got to the outlets at 10am but the lots were empty when we got there; 4 cars in our section including us.
When we left at noon, still rows of empty spaces.

Again, dreaded the parking at DS; found a space straight away beside the escalator in Lime, level 3.
DS was also very quiet & still so on leaving at 1.45.

We just came back from universal, our longest wait today was 30mins. Did nearly all the rides, only missed rip ride rocket

I also did the outlets today they were very quiet. Got some great bargains in Kate spade. 70% off plus an extra 20%!

Most kids in school so less families perhaps? Watching you tube of Character Warehouse in the few days and also looked half empty (of people and stock).
