Mobile Disabled access hotels Gatwick south

Hi all, this is going to sound crazy I’m sure, but I’m really struggling to find a hotel room with disabled accessibility to accommodate a family of 4 at Gatwick south terminal. This is our first time travelling with me profoundly disabled, also have spent a vast number of years flying out of north with BA, so I’m new to south offerings and also how to search and what to search for when looking for disabled facilities, but i had assumed they would come up as option or a flag to open up such rooms, try as I might I don’t see any option on the Hilton site for disabled rooms? The bloc hotel have already said they can’t accommodate me we really won’t manage buses etc so needs to be as close as poss. Any ideas? My brain is mush these days, once upon a time I’d have solved all this in my sleep! Thanking you all very much.

Travelodge , ground floor rooms are plentiful , bar and restaurant also on the ground floor. Only a couple of minutes to south terminal by bus or taxi so cheap enough. Can’t remember if the bus had wheelchair ramps or not though. Rooms are fine , even the standard ones but you can get the superior rooms with proper coffee machine etc too.
Taxi was either £6 or £8 flat rate. Most of the hotels built onto the terminal seem to be multilevel but with Travelodge you can have everything on the ground floor which may be better rather than lifts or the monorail from North to South terminal. We are paying £44 August bank holiday weekend so the taxi fare isn’t really a consideration.

Looks like most of the disabled access rooms at the Hilton South Terminal are either twins or doubles. The link below suggests they have one twin and a double connecting.

You can do an online chat on their website.

However, if you have used rooms at the North terminal which are suitable then I think it would be straight forward to travel to the South for your flight. I've done that journey many times and there aren't any steps. Obviously I'm not aware of your exact circumstances but if you can negotiate the monorail and walkways then I believe it's doable.
