Too big to ride FJ?

has anyone been since they changed the seats? what was your experiance?

See the sticky at the top of the section. Hundreds of us have been in the last year or so. I for one had no problem with the seats - you need to sit on one of the end seats, as these are the only ones which were able to be adapted.

I've lost over 70lb so I'll be able to ride the coasters but it just won't shift from my thighs n boobies - just my luck these are the 2 areas that will give me problems for FJ

Sound like a decent sports bra and a pair of spanx need to go on the shopping list for my suitcase

I was a size 18-20 and all boobs and thighs when I went on FJ without any problem last October so I wouldn't worry too much...I'm a 16 now so looking forward to standing in line and not getting stressed about whether I'm going to fit or not this year

I have a 50+ inch chest and wear 44inch waste trousers. I rode FJ 4 times this week. The ride attendants helped by pushing the restraint down and it was tight but totally worth it you just need to sit in one of the end set.

It's a brilliant ride.

I had a similar experience to Phil - the CM pushed down on the restraint until it gave the required number of clicks. it was certainly a tight fit and I felt very secure. Only issue I had was that at the endof the ride the restraint didnt release - I had visions of going round on the ride for days! Anyway the CM gave the restraint a push and it released so I could continue my holiday.

I was pulled out of the queue to use the test seat but I really didnt find it a humiliating experience at all.

From a size point of view I think I officially fall into the hefty classification - about 22 stone, 50"chest, XXL shirts.

There are and you may be pulled out of the queue to sit in these although when we went in June no-one was testing people but I knew to ask for the modified seats!

The worse I found was the Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls - my goodness they pushed so hard on the bar it took my breath away and it was unpleasant ride.

I've been on it many times and have never felt like that before.
