It's taken me ages to read through this thread and have loved every one of these moment, so feel I have to add my own!

Last Easter was our "once in a lifetime trip" and was very much looked forward to. I'm not sure if it was because the excitement was showing through or what but we had many magic moments, including:

Dh had bought ds1 & 2 some pins and lanyards, along with some for himself in the shop in AKL on our first morning. I trundled along and started pretending to be upset that I wasn't included, soon the cms got involved and started ribbing dh as well and it was very funny. I bought myself a lanyard and a few pins, then when I went to pay the cm behind the desk gave me a tinkerbell pin to make up for it!

Then when we reached MK we were taking photos in front of the castle when we were approached by a cm and chatted for a while, before he asked us if we wanted to be the grand Marshall's of the celebrate parade that afternoon. I was extremely excited - more than the boys were! I will never forget sitting in that car, singing our hearts out and waving to all of the people lining the parade route. I've always wanted to be famous and I certainly felt like a celebrate. Then when we got off at the end we had magic dust sprinkled all over us and were escorted to a roped off area where each of the characters who were on foot came over for handshakes and hugs! The funniest one was hook who played around with my two boys, knocking off their hats.

Later on in the holiday dh was picked out in the laugh factory, which made us all chuckle.

One of the sweetest moments was in turtle talk with crush and my eldest son (then 7) was picked for a question with crush. When crush heard his accent he said he sounded like royalty, then asked him where he was from, when ds said England crush said "oh, the land of ing!) the magical moment was when crush asked him how he got here and ds said we flew in an airoplane, crush asked what an airplane was and ds said "a big metal bird with wings that flies people on holiday!" The whole audience were all saying how cute that was and I agree! Crush then wanted to talk to dh and I and a lot of royalty banter followed!

But the all time greatest moment is that feeling you get when you look up and see that castle for the first time each trip. It gets me every time

This is an amazing thread and has given me goosebumps and magical Disney tears
In DLP at Stitch (similar to Crush) my DS (who has aspergers) being chosen to speak to Stitch. DS was the best monkey-no comment!
It was absolutely brilliant.
Well, the next day we went back. We explained to DS he wouldnt get chosen again...
The lad that was helping Stitch out was interviewing children, but either the children were shy or didnt speak English. So when it came to the best monkey again, guess who got chosen?
DS even went on to do the next bit of CM talk with Stitch and Stitch responded to him! the wonders of a photographic memory.

DLP again-Steakhouse-Ptrick the waiter-absolutely amazing man! He makes you feel like you are stars. Last time it was a bit quiet and he came and sat next to DS who was playing Professor Layton on his DS. They were sat a while working on puzzles.

DD is a HUGE Stitch fan and in Cafe Mickey, Stitch brought her birthday cake over

Watching DD watching Dreams-when the Rapunzel section came up-yes, I cried

Cant wait to make more Disney memories.

I have a couple and thinking about them now makes me smile.

On our first visit we it was me, my DH, my mum and my disabled brother. It was just after his 18th Birthday so we took him to chief mickey's for breakfast. Chip and Dale made a big fuss of him and he felt so special and then he got to meet his favourite Goofy and he has never forgotten it.

The second was on ToT we were waiting outside the lifts and my brother had turned round to speak to me and the Bell Hop came up behind him and looked down at him and spoke, making my brother jump out of his skin (and the rest of us laugh).

Looking forward to making some more special memories this summer just me and DH as we are celebrating his birthday and our anniversary and hopefully one day going back as a whole family
