I'm sure you were able to whip up something good with what you had.

I do quite like Heinz soup, but really only mulligatawny, oxtail or tomato. RC must really like it to stock up with 15 tins!

I'm going to keep an eye out for anyone buying those raffle tickets next time we fly RyanAir.

I always have to have a body scan due to the metal in my hip. It doesn't even bother me now - it's the attitude of the staff that gets t me. I know it must be a dull/repetitive job but there's no need to be so rude/grumpy when people don't know your particular system.

^^ THIS! Every ruddy airport has different rules - so despite the fact that you may be saying it for the 500th time that day - it's still news to most of the people you're snapping at!

When I moved into this house after R.C. and I got married - I was AMAZED to see the contents of the cabinets. Heinz soup, tinned strawberries and peaches - and Ritz crackers (winter meals). In the summer he used to eat half a lettuce, sliced meat and a tomato for dinner - every weeknight!

BLESS.

When I'm away he returns to his old habits.
