Hi All,

I believe today was the first day of the packaged visits to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Couple of reports:

From HyContrastKid:
"HOLY CRAP! Hundreds of guests in line for FJ. I'm ######."

Must purely be for package holders then, since TMs are guarding the entrance!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter vacation package is now online. Looks like "official" opening will be May 28th.

"DIS founder Pete Werner has a Harry Potter hotel package, and is in the Wizarding World right now... He just reported on FB that WWoHP will only be open until 10:00am today."

I just called guest services to see if there were plans to let general public in today. It was a wasted phone call. I was told that the grand opening is June 18th. On Twitter, kcardin09 claims that according to a source, GP soft opening will be at park open. I guess we'll see in a couple of minutes.

Pete's a friend on FB, and I can confirm that he has said HP is only open until 10am.

He also said that some CM's weren't aware that HP was open today.

Big mistake by Universal I think.

we can't wait we go on the 15th june so hopefully will be there for the official opening thats if we can get in but we will report on when we get back 30th june as we aren't taking the laptop this year as it's broke
