Driving from Calais to DLP
We're looking at doing the Sun's £9.50 day trip and trying to work out the logistics!
Is there a McDonalds on the route from Calais to DLP we can stop at for breakfast? |

We go on the 23rd but for a week. Have you been before? We always drive over as its so easy and you can take as much luggage as you need (which in jan is a lot, what with jumpers, vests, long johns, thermals etc.! )

There are several McD's - France is full of them! Cant remember exact locations, definitely Calais, try googling Mcdonalds france then I think you can put in a route and it will show you where they are, or if you have satnav they usually show them.
Drive takes about 3 hours. Sarah try this weblink mcdonalds/graphics/res...ichelin02.html Edited at 08:18 PM. Reason: weblink |

I obviously have never noticed them before! We normally just take a packed lunch. Might stop at one of them this time...!

They normally signpost them from the motorway as you get closer to the junction that you need to come off at, along with a number of other restaurants etc. If you want a more substantial meal we like the Buffalo Grill or Courtepaille chains, and I think the buffet at Campanille hotels is also supposed to be good. (You can tell food is an important part of my holiday )
