Luckily our DD is an early riser, but we had exactly that last year with DS - he could sleep for England, so I do feel for you.

Have a fab time too! Nearly time for our SDD Christybell. Do you think it matters if we do it a bit early?

I've just done the final part of my planning and booked the Duck Tour in South Beach for the morning after we arrive. Thought we'd have time to see a bit of the area before travelling up to Orlando.

DD came home yesterday after finally booking her holiday to Turkey, although not before nearly booking for the Dominican Republic - slight difference I know. I think she had a lucky escape really when that late deal had gone when they went to book it, as the reviews were pretty awful.

Anyway, she's going the day before us, so am glad she's away at around the same time. If she'd gone just before we came home, it would have been a real struggle to cope without seeing her for a month.

I am a bit of an obsessive planner, I know. I just like to make the most of our precious time there.

We don't stick to a plan rigidly though. DH asked yesterday if I'd got a list of the restaurants we'd be visiting. He was very surprised when I said No. Think I must have done that last year. He won't know what to do when he has to make a choice on the day of where to eat this time!

Have a fab time on your holiday and enjoy your weekend doing some last minute planning. I'll warn you, it's addictive!

DH & I went without our DDs in January and we had an absolute ball. Highly recommend it
