Brilliant report. Although I don't fancy those queue times!
I love your hotel room. And the cover over main st. They should do that in Paris.

Wow your photos are amazing, love the business class, I can only dream of that ! Was going to ask about the roof cover then Geoffa mentioned it. Why do some people wear the covering masks and some don't?

Hi,

The face masks are worn as a sign of politeness. Dispite popular believe they are not warn to keep germs out, they are warn by people who have a bug like a cold or cough for example to stop other people catching it.

You can even buy them next to the till in Disney with faces on them

Well we used our Avios point (Airmiles) and paid just over £1000 in taxes etc

However if you were to pay cash for the flight it would've been about £6500 for us both.

£6500?! Really?! Our flights - admittedly economy with a stop over are £650 each!

Unfortunately there's a big price jump from economy to Club World with BA and direct always costs a bit more too.

As you say you can do it cheaper but with a 12/13 hour flight we wanted to be comfortable to sleep and as we had Airmiles/Avios to use we thought we might as well go for it.

Wow - great flight, wonderful hotel room, fab loo! So looking forward to reading more. Not so keen on the length of the queues though, but I guess you just have to go with it.
