This is very very interesting, especially the airport arrivals bit. I'm going on a family adventure around China having snaffled up 4 cheap Mid July tickets with Cathay ex MAN. To get the cheap price we've ended up with an extra couple of nights so I've suggested popping into Shanghai Disney for the extra time, which has been well received! So suddenly this thread is more than a curio about an unfamiliar Disney environment but a treasure trove of info... looking forward to your next update...

We have previously spent 17 days touring Japan including 3 days in Disney, 2 weeks touring China and several days in Hong Kong (1 1/2 days in park) so this is just a 'top up' trip really, all started by 'needing' to go to Shanghai for the 'set' lol!
