Not ideal but lets be honest 1 case can go between the 2 children in the back. However even a Midsize SUV eats luggage unlike a car with a boot . Namely because you can stack up to the roof.

May not be ideal but don't forget that's only the two airport runs when it may be an issue.

Yeah, we always manage...this year doing 7 hotels, so would have preferred bigger. We have soft cases so could get 3large in boot, doubt you could hard cases.Large Suv is way to go if in doubt.

I'm pretty sure we will be fine. We are aiming to take two large cases and two cabin carry on cases for clothes. As mentioned a case could go between the kids in the back if absolutely needed. I am definitely not upgrading to anything bigger. A jeep Cherokee would fit the bill looking at the size of the boot. Bigger than my Skoda here so should be fine.
