I did this - it works! I have not run (EVER - not even at school - always managed to get out of it). We (family) decided to do run Disney this year (5k). I started the couch to 5k in January - completed the 9 weeks and ended being able to run for 30 minutes. I'm not going to lie - I hated every step until the end. I was not running 5k in 30 minutes - but since finishing I have kept going and now run 5k in about 40/43 minutes. It helps that I did the Couch to 5k with my neighbour and we still go running together 3 times a week. We always do a 5k followed by a 3k and then a 5k (with rest days in between). If we miss a few days - about 4 or 5 - I find it very hard to get bak into it. So - long story short - keep going, it does work and you can do it! Good luck

well I didnt make my 3 runs last week - I've been in a massive amount of pain with ym shoulder - got an appt for a steroid injection next week s fingers crossed.

I'm going to the gym after work tomorrow to do a modified workout and to do myweek 2 run 3, and hopfully I'll manage to get in at least another 2 runs this week - got a support for my shoulder to stop it from hurting whilst i run

Left it until 9pm and tried a new route. Was definitely still struggling with the heat but it was manageable at least.

Really, really struggled on my 25 min run today. Only difference between today & Monday was it was about 6 degrees warmer, but it seems to have really taken its toll. Checked out my stats when I got home and I wasn’t imagining it! Monday vs. this morning... 🥵

I redid the last run this morning, and following a bit of a struggled 6min run on a bad route (had to walk for 30sec about half way!) I then put my back out getting dressed!
Feeling a little frail now!
Love hearing everyone’s progress!
