Virgin premium
If you had the choice of using virgin premium one way, would you use it for your inward or outward flight and why

Inward. We are doing this. We figure that you are excited enough about going so the flight out is ok. That said, I’d do both if I could. If you are the type that sleeps all the way back then probably outward. I am not that type 😔

Inbound. Mainly for the luggage allowance and more room to try and sleep.
Also, going by your other threads I assume you’re using miles. The taxes on the inbound flight are about an extra £50, where as on the outbound they’re about £130ish. Edited at 06:35 PM. |

Snap, luggage allowance on way home. Just think what you could buy.

Outbound every time. I can honestly not understand wanting to spend all that money when you are really just going to snooze most of the flight. I like to enjoy the experience and also, being first off for immigration is the biggest perk. Not bothered about being first off when we land home! When we did premium back once, the bloke in front just reclined his seat the whole flight home that I may as well have been sat in economy tbh.

The downside is it is more expensive outbound than inbound😩

We do economy upstairs going which means it’s quieter than downstairs, and we are first off for immigration 😎 then PE on they way back for the extra luggage, we have picked the back row of seats upstairs due to the toilets being at the front of the cabin..

We are doing it on the return for the additional luggage but also because we’re using miles and it’s cheaper than outbound due to taxes and fees.
