Can this be done?

Hi dibbers. I’m just checking what we have planned we can do
We have a one day ticket only for Hollywood studios and this is the plan
Hollywood studios in the morning to early afternoon. Then return to the villa. Then early evening we plan to get a Uber taxi to Disney boardwalk as I’ve booked us a table at the Italian. Then the plan is to either stay round the boardwalk or walk back to Hollywood studios and go on whatever rides we may have missed and watch the star wars fireworks then get an Uber taxi back to the villa.
So with a one park one day only ticket are we ok to do the above? I suppose my main concern is where would the taxi collect us from and is Hollywood studios walkable from the boardwalk or is there a boat?

Yes it's fine to do with a one park ticket, you can enter the same park as many times as you need in the same day.

Ask the Uber to drop you at check in/valet parking at the Boardwalk Inn then follow the signs down a set of steps out to the Boardwalk - Trattoria is on the right after Flying Fish.

The boats are under refurb, not sure when this finishes but it's a twenty minute walk along the path or there are replacement buses.

Not sure what the procedure is for Uber entering to pick you up but there are usually Mears cabs already available just past the bus stops.

It's a lovely walk - done it many times and personally prefer it to the friendship boats which can take an eternity. Big, wide dedicated pathway along the river.

Although the boats are great if you're not in a hurry.
