Aquatica cabanas
Hi all
I’m thinking of booking a cabana when we are visiting aquatica for the day. Can anyone recommend them? And if you can which area is best? Thanks |

we booked one of these when the park first opened. They were very good, and we really enjoyed it. At that time there was not a great deal of shade available, have no idea what its like now. We had a Fridge and free drinks and a cast member who took our food order. This was in september 2008

We had one once and it was to the side the wave pool over looking it. It was nice but haven't done it since as I find with Aquatica if you get there at opening there are plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas available especially near the entrance ( at back of park not beach one) of Roa Rapids

We get one of the cheap ones by Roa Rapids and it usually costs us about $50 in October.
You get towels, a locker, plenty of water in your fridge and you can order food and drink The staff are very attentive. We had a lot of rain the day we went last year and we were upgrade to the top range and when they closed the park early we got yo rebook free of charge.

If I book a cabana and the day we book it’s raining all day so don’t go. Do we get our money back? Or is it a gamble?

Sorry, don't know. However last year the park was closed on the day we had booked because it was too cold and although there was a slight bit of confusion at the ticket window when we arrived, they did still honour the cabana booking when we went the next day. Presumably then the policy is that the booking remains good if they close the park due to weather but maybe not if you just choose not to go?

Technically it's non refundable. But we went as the weather was not too bad... it got worse and it felt like we were the only ones in the park (we certainly had Road Rapids almost to ourselves) and they closed the park early, so they let us rebook for later in the holiday.
So no refunds but a good deal from them

We’ve decided that we are going to treat ourselves and book one. I can see roas rapids is a popular spot but has anyone stayed in the beach front cabanas?
