I wouldn't go with a picture above your bed as your bedhead looks quite high already. A better option would be to put something like this...

... above each bedside table. It will also have the effect of reflecting the light from the lamps around the room.
I would recommend Dulux Quintessential Blue or Vast Lake for a blue that isn't too cold.

I have Dulux sea smoke on the wall behind my bed which I really like and I have a 'beachy' picture from the Range above the bed. I put the same colour on a wall in my en-suite and added some costal decor and towels.

I have Dulux denim drift in another room which is another nice colour.

I'm a very blue person (don't do fashionable colours just what I like) so have cream and duck egg in bedroom (walls cream but curtains duck egg and bedding has hints of duck egg), living room cream and Dulux New Dawn, and Dulux Blue Babe in kitchen (but that's going soon, fancy a bit more of a New England colour out there.

We have a coastal bedroom.
Room is painted snow white with ocean blue accents in the decor.
Above the bed though, a quite tall 'headboard' of driftwood with a shelf running over the top of it with rustic corbels. Above that, two boat oars in distressed blues.
Our en-suite is also coastal and they run in together decor-wise.

Our spare room has a coastal feel we just painted one wall blue but we did it a long time ago and I can’t remember the shade.

The picture above the bed is a canvas print of my boys when they little.
