Release for BA is 355 days before your return flight.
Flights for most if not all others and also search engines is 330 days. I generally wait a couple of weeks beyond the 330 unless I spot something that is clearly a bargain. For July of 2022 , I would be looking at September of 2021 as my most likely time to book. With what you have said, I would also be considering into Tampa and out of Miami. The difference in drive time between MCO and Tampa is around 45 minutes and you may get most of that back in customs/immigration/baggage reclaim. Edited at 05:20 AM. |

Oooo that’s a good idea. I’ll have a look. Do BA fly to Tampa? Thing is I’m not even sure what’s a bargain because I have no idea what prices we should be expecting 🙈.

BA have a good tailor made section on their website which allows you to book
retrurn flights with different outbound and inbound departures eg tampa out and miami back or MCO out and miami back It also allows you to choose a hotel for part of your stay, so say you book flights out 1/7 with a return of 3/8 but want to stay in a hotel for 1/8 and 2/8. IT WILL allow you to do that and price it up. Booking a package with BA can be good value dependant upon the hotel you choose. GO FOR IT and enjoy

We’ve paid £1000 each for direct flights with TUI (Dreamliner) and 14 days at the Avanti Resort for august. (2 adults).
Way more expensive than I’d usually pay but I had to move a Spain holiday with TUI so didn’t have much choice on who I booked with. |

Our budget is £500pp for July/August flydrive for 3 weeks for 1 stop flights. Usually we pay less than that, this time we’ve paid £518 each
