I was in hospital for a week back in January with gallbladder stones the pain was awful, made worse by not being allowed visitors and losing my phone the first day I was in there. I was treated with antibiotics and sent home after a week with strong painkillers.

I had an appointment with the consultant at the end of April and he has put me down as urgent for the operation he said it should take three months.

Thankfully no really painful flare ups but I do feel it in the evening if I’ve eaten too much of the wrong thing.

Oh my word 😳 what a January! Some new year that was for you!

I've been given no indication of what will happen next... I really hope you get your operation soon and that I can stop myself getting any further flare ups! 🤞 🤞 🤞

You sound like you’ve really been through it, mine had been playing up for about 18 months, I would get really bad pain like a bolt from the blue I’d take some indigestion tablets and the pain would subside, but that particular night the pain just wouldn’t go. These would happen every 2 to 4 months. Feel lucky not to have had another massive episode.

Hope they sort you out with your op soon.

Well here we go again DIL1 this time after 3 episodes of horrible pain in the last week
On line GP appointment you might have gall stones
So she had a private appointment this evening scan done and she has gall stones
She has surgery booked for Saturday DH took one look at her on Sunday morning we’d to go get the kids and said this is not happening he just loves his DILs and she’s lost
2 stone since January till the op it’s dry toast grilled chicken white fish rice and boiled potatoes and ice ginger tea

My daughter is 26 and was diagnosed in March after months of pain on and off, she had the scan to confirm but her blood tests came back and they think she may have a blockage ? she has to go for a MRI next week.

I feel her pain it awful, let’s hope it’s her gallbladder and she can have it removed.

My dd had her gallbladder out this morning. She is home now, says not too much pain but she is still has pain relief from op. But she is walking around as if nothing has happened. Hopefully this will be the end of all the painful flare ups

Your poor DD, I really hope she gets taken care of really soon and that her MRI goes well.
